Sourbaby is the third Limited added in Baubles.

Appearance

Sourbaby is a baby who appears to have consumed a sort of sour candy, which has soured his mood.

Sourbaby is visibly displeased and angry. Who did this to him...?

In-game Behavior

• Makes a screeching sound nonstop.
• Flings/Moves around your base or towards the player.
• Bites the player for a small amount of damage if they collide with it.

Unofficial In-game Behavior

1. Sourbabies lunge at the nearest player, so long as they are on their "hate" list.
2. Giving sourbabies a drink (cofy/water bottles) will temporarily sate them and they will cease aggression.
3. When sated, sourbabies seek out the nearest couch. If not supplied with a TV, he will begin crying...
4. Dipping a sourbaby in the park's fountain during a blood moon will cause the trinket to change proportions rapidly, emitting an ear-grating scream. This only appears on the client of the owner of the sourbaby.
5. Dropping trinkets (heavy ones, such as an anvil) at high speeds onto sourbabies utterly annihilates them with no visual/sound effect. There is no known way to retrieve your sourbaby; rejoining yields no results.
6. Sourbabies consume the bodies of the fallen and grow slightly in size. However, this has only been observed once, and is incredibly hard to replicate as it takes as much time to consume a body as it does for one to despawn.

Official Trivia

• Sourbaby released on May 26th, 2024, around 2-3PM EST and took around 10 minutes to sellout, making it the fastest limited to sellout!

• Sourbaby had two reruns.
  • One test run.
  • One official run, though there was a glitch that caused the limited to not appear in players' houses/inventories.

• Sourbaby confusingly released after HOW 2 COOK: Soufflé à la vanille (L03).

• Sourbaby has the lowest stock out of any officially obtainable limited in the game.

• Sourbaby is the only Limited that has a set amount obtainable per player and has a cap of one.
• Attempting to obtain more than one Sourbaby would've caused a random message to appear in chat instead of taking a stock.

• Sourbaby hate lists seem random but are confirmed to be based on unknown criteria according to the developers.

• TVs will play a Sourbaby commercial when a sourbaby is watching it. This commercial was animated by roblox user Lemonm4ge, who is known as an artist for Tomaero projects.

• Sourbabies were initially going to come with a dog companion, but it unfortunately passed away after 12 happy years. It was found distasteful to parade its corpse (???).

• Sourbaby is the trinket with the most unique interactions. Happy Birthday!
